An avid collector of interesting things and people, she represents Ishgardian interests across the star.
To that end she has embedded herself into the emerging power structure of Tural. As a new resident of Solution 9, she takes her time acquainting herself with the wonders of Alexandria and the powers of Electrope.

From the moment she was born- her life was not her own. She has always known that her purpose was to be the ideal bride, a daughter of Kugane, a trophy. She had made peace with her lot, indeed she embraced it- and she was ready to bring honor to her family, until she met Mai.
Her world shattered that day. How could fate justify someone so identical to her to be so different? Was her entire life a matter of circumstance and not destiny? Doubt eats at her resolve like rain washes away ink.
She is no longer the perfect wife- in fact, she is no longer anything. Though perhaps that is her true destiny, to cast herself into the sea of chaos and emerge from it who she was always meant to be.

To grow up in The Vue is to embrace the suck, it is a neon sewer that will swallow you whole and never spit you out. Mai didn't just survive it- she thrived, and eventually clawed out a piece of The Nine for herself.
Life was looking up- and then the Queen died.
Solution 9 was cast into melancholy- a societal depression the likes of which none was prepared for. Death 'is' and those that never knew it before must now come to terms with a new reality. Many left the neon lights behind in search of meaning- Mai was one said pilgrim.
